Back when LGBTQ wasnβt as famous, I miss the times where Rainbows werenβt considered as Flags, or as gay. And were just normal rainbows. Now, when It rains and thereβs a rainbow, people arenβt just gonna be like βOh look! A Rainbow!β Theyβre js gonna make LGTBQ jokes. Such as βThe sky is Gay?!β Or βJesus is gay!!β. I know these lines from experience from friends. Not everything has to be about LGTBQ. Look, Iβm not trying to be homophobic, Iβm Bisexual. But like, please. Stop making everything about LGTBQ. Itβll make the community look more bad than It already is (due to hate). Iβm trying to make the community better by lowing the stuff down. But nobody cares, and keeps attacking me. I donβt get It.
And not to mention, The only sexuality cannot just be gay. What happened to Lesbian? Bisexual? Pansexual? Itβs all Just gay now. Why Isnβt anybody saying It anymore. Look, I get It, but I donβt at the same time. Are the rest of the sexualities just there for display? Look, again. Iβm not trying to be homophobic, Iβm Bisexual. But like, please. Just listen to me for once.

This post isnβt homophobic because youβre not targeting anyone whoβs homosexual or anything. Youβre just calling out people who abuse the word βgayβ. Two very different things. In my country, people tend to be quite homophobic due to religious reasons, and since homosexuality isnβt quite βthe normβ here. So, people donβt tend to use the word βgayβ here quite much, but when itβs used, itβs more used in a insulting manner.
Quite frankly, I also get tired of hearing people calling everything gay. As you said, anything with rainbows and people immediately start making jokes. Issue is that these jokes are super repetitive and annoying, itβs just the βOkay bro we get it, anything with rainbows is gay to you, shut the fuck upβ. -
