i kinda need help.,?

so like i have this friend named kaiden (not real name) and me and kaiden have been friends for some time now, so we’re decently close friends.
Thing is, kaiden likes me. like- wants to date me likes me. i dont want to date kaiden, and if i say no, i’d obviously hurt his feelings, so i said i’d think about it. I’ve been thinking about it for a while, and i can’t hold it off much longer.
i’ve been more uncomfortable about him recently, because of how he obviously feels.

Try expressing your feelings or tell him to take it a bit more slower/try not to rush into dating you. Let him know if your not ready yet or that you aren’t sure if you want to date him, and let you think about it.

Me personally, I’d wanna be let down bluntly (no matter how much i like them) and i’d want them to get straight to the point. but y’know, grain of salt and all that. I sure as hell can’t speak for everyone.
