Bedrotting is ‘romanticized’ untill it’s 4pm and the only thing you’ve left your bed to do is get snacks from the pantry or use the bathroom.
Depression is ‘quirky’ untill you haven’t brushed your teeth in five days because it feels like a chore
Depression is promising to do better but falling behind every time.
      Depression is forgetting to shower.
Depression is not brushing your hair for days.
Depression is crying because you’re failing, but doing nothing to fix it.

Depression isn’t as hard to fix as it seems. especially because i have adhd as well.

Im gross. im failing. and i cant talk to anyone about it because if i do, i get shamed for being gross. i already know that.

      and i fucking hate myself.

@keep-yourself-safe im sorry if this is offtopic, and im probably NOT supposed to self diagnose, and im not saying that i have depression or i potentially do, but except for the bedrotting (god bless those and i wish well for those who do, and for those with no/other religon, i still wish well for you), i oddly relate to everything else (again, sorry if this is either rude or offtopic, or bad that im relating to a vent, or venting on a vent when im supposed to listen)

"If i'm not someone as useful, who am I?"

        "…I wish I could tell him…"

        (these r my oc's dialouge btw 😭)

sorrows and also, if you ever wanna talk, im here if you’d like, until 8pm atleast but im here for aslong as you could need to vent to me for (that is if you’re comfortable with me)

sorrows listen, i’m not diagnosed for depression either. Every time i mention it to my parets i get some weird bullshit like its just my hormones. But i’m pretty damn sure i have it. And i’m not just referring to me in that vent, i’m referring to a whole array of people who suffer just like i do.
Also its not rude that you’re relating lmao, i actually dont like the pity or like apologies n shit its hard to explain i just like to get that shit off my chest and find someone who DOES relate
