Third, as soon as I go in my room to lay down on my bed, my mom walks in my room again without knocking, but this time two neighbors are coming in with her.

Parents want their kids to do things for them. Even if parents know they can do it on their own, they’ll have their kids do it instead. If a child is hella close to saying “No” or “I don’t want to,” that shit will get them in trouble and all of a sudden it’s “disrespectful” asf when it’s such an easy task the parent(s) can do for themselves. Now chores, that shouldn’t be refused because as kids we gotta learn how to take care of ourselves in the future.
