since apparently ppl say the n word on mpp now, let me just say something. Being black is not a trend lmao. Like fr, either you are or you aren’t and if you’re not black you don’t say the n word. It’s plain and simple. Watch your mouth please. If we were in person, I would fight you over saying the n word and not being black. And I’ve never really mentioned race as an issue on MPP but yeah, I’m mentioning it now so <3

I mean, from what I’ve seen, no ones said it when they’re not supposed to but don’t get any ideas. Like its not that hard to watch your mouth and keep words that don’t belong there out. Theres so many other words out there and you choose to say the one with racist meaning behind it. And don’t even get me STARTED on the hard r. Because if you say it with a hard r.

@FinnyWinny Personally, I don’t think anyone should say it. It makes confusion and chaos having to explain “Oh, I’m black so it’s okay.” It sounds racist to say one race can say an offensive word but the other can’t. I think that if the n word was truly racist and offensive to the black community, everyone should not say it. Including black folks. Can only white people say “cracker?” No lol. If you reverse it, white people can’t say “It’s okay because I’m white,” because that sounds racist, doesn’t it? I just think it’s pretty silly that the earth shakes and quakes when someone says the n word, but once they clarify their race is black, it’s all good. Seems pretty messed up to me. And to clarify, I’m not saying everyone should say it or no one should. I’m saying no one should say it period. People talk about it being just about the worst word out there yet it seems pretty common in the black community to say it - ironically it’s supposed to be offensive to them. Seems hypocritical. Nobody talks about white slurs or anyone being racist against whites (that exists. I’ve experienced it). There’s no such thing as a “white community.” I agree with you that it’s a bad word, but I don’t think that the “n word pass” is right. The definition of being racist is judging, assuming, or limiting someone based on the color of their skin. So is it racist to say “You can’t say that because you’re white”? Yes. It is. I think that it should be “You can’t say that because it’s offensive.” Yeah, you might say that as well to the person, but then you go and say the n word yourself, so was it really offensive…? It’s only offensive when a white person says it. Now tell me that’s not racism at its finest.

@Duchess I get that and it makes sense. But I see the n-word as a group coping mechanism. I mean I get it, it does sound kind of racist but I’d call it more prejudiced, its not oppression to other races.

@FinnyWinny Well it is racial opression. When you tell a race what they can and cannot do because the color of their skin. I do not find it okay to say the n word in any way, so don’t get me wrong, I get that. But everyone should be condemed for saying this word, not everyone but blacks.

@Duchess I agree as well. While I do understand it’s a way of reclaiming the word, it just seems off. Especially since a lot of people I know that say that word - not all, just most - like to be racist towards white people as well. Now tell me how that’s fair? It’s hypocritical and personally I can’t stand it.
