Basically, I’ve yapped about LSM before, but this is a whole new level of love.
Basically, I have this friend, who we’ll call Elo.
She’s my age, and she plays bassoon and sings. We were both in choir and orchestra this year. (She auditioned and got put in the symphonic orchestra, so YIPPEE!!!)
We call and talk often, and the last week of LSM (AKA Festival Week), she was visiting me in my room, and asked me what my address was.
I gave it to her, asking for hers as well, so that we can like write letters and stuff.
It was my birthday on the 17th, and the next day, I got a small box from her. She had crocheted me a duck (there's a reasoning behind it, ask me about it in DMs if you're interested in me yapping about why I have 73 little plastic ducks and 7 little plastic rabbits) and a **mobius strip fidget.
She also sent 4 or 5 pictures that had me in in it as well as her or Eds, my roommate.
I almost started crying. I love her. Elo, if you’re somehow on here, ilysm. /p 🖤 🫶
**(this is because me and my friends draw during recitals (and even though we’re quiet), we get told to stop. It got really bad one time last year half of us went non-verbal.)
