[For the record, this is about ‘future carrie’, when she’s 21.]

Carrie, obviously, loves her neice. They aren’t related by blood, but that’s the least of her worries.
As most would know, Carrie suffers from schizophrenia.
She medicates it now, obviously. Though sometimes she forgets her pills.

sometimes, she loses that small green bottle in the unorganized clutter her small bag was.
And she’d panic. Most of the time, it was at her apartment. She could just call Sofi or Vapor [as- it’s VERY hard to look for something, hell, it’s hard to FUNCTION when voices scream in your ear.]
Those fucking voices.
Dee, iris, and eve.
They never went away, did they? The sneers hidden in a child’ voice.
One came more than the others. She didn’t bother to remember who.
Panic attacks usually came as well. She tried to hard not to go back into her old ways, she had enough scars throughout her body as is. But sometimes she’d run her hand through her hair just a bit too hard and stare at the small clump of hair she ‘accidentally’ tore out.

And God, it’s fucking terrifying when it happens around Everleigh. She’s only eight. Sure, her mother has informed her auntie carrie can… see things that aren’t real, but she doesn’t really understand.
Carrie was very good at hiding stuff. She taught herself to be.
But it was really hard to keep a straight face when; while you’re playing a game with your neice, there are voices snarling in your ear. saying;

“Kill the girl.”

“Throw it at her head,”

“Make it hurt.”

“Show them how horrible of a choice they made trusting… you with her. the lion and the lamb. Show her how your body’s meant to kill her. to make her suffer”
It was enough to make her fingernails dig into her palms, her heels dig into the ground, and to chew on the inside of her lip so hard it was a wonder it hadn’t bled.

It’s getting a revamp, and it’s hopefully going to be a bit longer than last time!

Carrie had an… odd relationship with Sofi to say the least. When she had first been taken in, it was somewhat awkward. They had wound up growing closer, similar to roomates? It was hard to say. Though Carrie’d be lying if she said they were still… that close?

Sofi is obviously very upset by this. But she didn’t try to force a relationship on Carrie, as she was a teenager going through… teenager things. She hadn’t actually been a teenager in a while, so it was hard to say. She wouldn’t exactly say she had some sort of ‘motherly instinct’ when taking care of the teenager, because she didn’t. Carrie wasn’t even… normal. She didn’t mean to be rude while saying this, but she was- different. Crazy? An understatement. Sofi could hardly count the amount of times she’s seen Carrie walk into the house, covered in blood. (Usually, Sofi didn’t even know if it was Carrie’s or not.)
What frustrated Sofi, is Carrie never opened up. Almost never. There were a few, (yet quite rare) moments where Sofi’d find herself sitting on the light grey couch in the living room, holding that usually stoic teenager, in her arms; sobbing.
She still can’t get that one moment out of her head. That one moment where Carrie practically begged her for something she could never do.
“I know you can. Just- Kill me. Please.”

You are nothing but a burden, Cassandra. You are nothing but dead weight.
That damned cursed watch kept whispering in the back of my mind, and i just…couldn’t take it anymore. I don’t even remember what we were talking about, but I remember cutting my fiancé, Kaz, off.
“Just admit it, Kaz. I’m a burden. I just take up space, and put a mental weight on people because I overthink so much. I make people worry.”
He pulled me closer, his voice low, almost hurt I would think such a thing. “You will never be a burden. You help me simply by existing, you’re the opposite of a burden. And you can hold your own in a fight better than any of us. I fucking love you, Cass-”
“Don’t touch me…” I remember brushing his hand off and starting to get up.
“Wait-! You’re not a fucking burden, darling-”
“Don’t lie to me, Kaz. All I do is weigh you guys down. All I do is slow you down. I’m the reason Sebastian got into this mess. Im the reason everyone nearly died. I’m not good enough for this place.”
“I’m not fucking lying! Why can’t you see that? Over and over again, you say that you’re not good enough and you are. You’re enough. It doesn’t matter what you might’ve done, you’re still one of us!”
“Because I keep proving my point.”
“You haven’t proven a damn thing other than the fact that you’re the love of my life. Please, don’t leave…”
“I…I have to, Kaz. At least just for a little bit. Just… I need to clear my head, since I overthink so much.”
“…O-okay. Just…don’t do anything stupid…”
“I don’t know if I’ll be back, actually. Tell the others. Don’t try to follow me…”
…And with that, I left Lord Rezik’s palace. Left the kingdom of Ouros, and I became a vessel for the dark power that was inside the watch.
I’ve made my choice.

When I was a very very young child and I listened to my first instrumental, I didn’t know how people did it. Until I had a brainiac cell-less idea to say they muffle their songs with like-- a pillow or something because of how instrumentals are sometimes muffled. But if they’re clean (and I mean CLEAN. [cleaner than my sexuality]), I thought they always remade the songs, Just removing the voice and keeping the instrumentals…
