I walk downstairs and my mom is standing in the middle of the living room staring at me I was freaking out and my anxiety was thru the roof, then the mother rant began, and she was being the bitch she always was and I was just standing there until “WHY CANT YOU JUST BE A NORMAL KID AND PLAY OUTSIDE OR SOMETHING” silence for what seems like forever. I run upstairs to… I dont remember, but I think was to cry. I fell asleep a while after, so thats why I dont remember much before, she doesnt care that im on here though so, im here ig-

I can understand how someone’s parents can overreact, which they really shouldn’t, about supposedly being in your own bubble of internet and the online - what I’d like to know is how the word “normal” is defined here. I wouldn’t think that there’s a universal “normal” concept, really. What you like to do is what’s normal about you. For your mom to use it in that context can really be offending.

Do you have siblings who’d play with you? If not, you can’t really do anything lol. Unless you’re willing to get creative.
