Relationship With Your Mom Story?
-
@Cozy-Talk Im trying to make more of a schedule when I post these questions and I think Im set on every monday.
Hopefully you all had a pleasant mother’s day :) I went on a picnic with my mom and went to the cove. It was really nice. Breezy, though lol.
What is your relationship with your mom? Is she a friend or someone you look up to? Or is she someone you have a lot of confrontation with?
-
i can’t answer those questions
-
My relationship with my mom is very random
She could be giving me the silent treatment one week and then the next we could be best friends
And she has this. .I don't know what you call it but she always feels as if she's in the right in something even when she isn't
My eldest sister has pointed that out MANY TIMES to my grandma, me and our other sister.^
If anything, I have a better relationship with my eldest sister than my own mother.

Well, it’s a bit complicated.
My mom’s dad was a bit of an asshole to her and her three siblings as they were growing up, so none of them know how a parental figure would act.
Now they’re all thrown into being parents (except Josh, he’s still paying for his literal crimes) with people who they think can help them.
Mom and dad met at a Wienerschnitzel mom was working at in california. I’m still piecing the story together to this day, so I can’t really say much of it.
At first, dad got a job to support his son, Bryce, while mom did whoknowswhat. Then there was a second goblin.
The silent goblin.
The second goblin ate kitty litter and barely even cried most of the time. She was quiet but resilient in her efforts.
Mom had to get a job and dad decided to look after the two children. The first one had become extremely childish and refused to not sleep in the two parents’ bed. Meanwhile, the second one was ready to be completely independent.
By the time the first one had reached nine years and the second one had been seven, another goblin was created. She started out quiet and calm, but things turned on their heels when something went wrong. (That shit was LOUD)
Nevertheless, the mother continued to work as hard as she could.
And the father had to learn something that was crucial to the mission.Patience with children.
This helped him be much calmer in his approach towards many things since he would eventually be what those three kids would think of when they thought of ‘parent’.
And the mother tried as hard as she could to keep those four alive for as long as possible.
When 2020 struck, the first goblin had given up completely on being a good person. The third had developed extreme anger as well as she began to learn how to talk.
The second?
Well…She joined a piano site.

With mine, it’s a good relationship. She’s loving and caring. Yet, I’m grateful to have her as a mom.

@Duchess my mom’s aight at times. Though mainly she’s a bitch. She said my gf was grooming me cause me and her cuddle, and she also trauma dumped on her suicidal son (me) and decided it would be a great idea to mock my SH, depression, and anxiety tics, all cause she’s a narcissist and thinks I’m faking and harming to be emo.

@HEXER

{_𝐘𝐋𝐋_} Oddly, I keep hearing some parents are like that. It’s really odd indeed. I don’t know parents are so prideful, but it’s like their generation just ended up that way. Even someone I know who has lovely parents, they still have a hard time admitting they’re wrong. At least you have a good relationship with your sister. That’s always nice. My sister and I are Irish twins (born a year apart) so growing up with her made us have a good friendship.
@WoodGecko9118 Y’see, that’s why having a good parents is so important. Because when you mess things up with your kids, how do you think they’re going to act with their kids? I guess they just don’ot think about it, huh. That’s crazy how you still don’ot know your parents’ full story. What a mystery for sure. Also, wow, you need to write a book because you wrote this so well lol.
@Calistaa Agreed. I was just thinking how amazing that was. She’d be such a great author
Sapphire!!! That’s amazing to know :) Do you guys have any special things you like to do together?
@HEXER So in other words, it’s not alright. Yknow, I feel like parents just don’t know how to comprehend that their kids suffer too. If people were more understanding, it would make the world so much better. I hear you about the mocking stuff… That’s absolutely unacceptable behavior from a parent. I wish it wasn’t like that for you. It’s fascinating you mention narcissism. What other things does she do that resemble narcissism?
JDP Random I think that’s good :)
@1zzylmao Oh. I’m sorry to hear that. Do you have any good memories of her?
@ᏒᏬᏝᏋᎥᎶᏂ I understand. I knew there’d be a few people who just couldn’t answer, and that’s okay. I don’t know how she was or anything, but I hope she was a lovely woman.
@maybenot-finneas That’s funny lol. It’s good to hear you guys are close despite the fights lol. I’m pretty close with my mom while also being really distant. I love her but there are certain things I can’t share with her, but that’s alright. Mom’s are complicated creatures lol
