tell him my name and pronouns and he still goes “young lady” mhm totally, me, a boy, named clay, using he/him pronouns is totally a girl

@claybees_ No one’s going to respect their opinion if they don’t respect yours. Which is why it’s annoying when people are just stubborn about it. I mean, I’m a strong supporter of people having that opinion. Even if they don’t agree or want to call you a guy, public school is not the place to start things. If you don’t agree, just ask about it. That doesn’t mean they don’t have to agree. I had a teacher in highschool who told a trans guy that they were a girl in front of the whole class and made fun of them. Kind of disappointing in my opinion since even if you don’t agree with it, that’s not how you should treat someone, yknow?

@Duchess I mean, yeah since we have our district portal, it may say it’s a female/male. Also - I don’t know what the point of this, is it to criticize teachers who are older about pronouns? Not to play devils advocate.

@Duchess this teacher is a sub and has already refered to another person with their prefered pronouns (they/them)

@laraiia Oh I definitely dont criticize teachers for not getting pronouns stuff. I just cringe when they make fun and all that. It sets a really bad example. Even if it can get silly lol. I feel like today is just too delicate to refuse to go by what someone prefers. I don’t even argue/be stubborn about it. I just ask lol
