Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to share an update with you all about my ongoing journey of self-discovery and expression. After some reflection and exploration, I have come to identify as demigirl. For those who may not be familiar, demigirl is a term used by individuals who partially identify as a woman or experience a partial connection to femininity, while not fully aligning with traditional definitions of womanhood.
While I continue to use both she/her and they/them pronouns, identifying as demigirl feels like the best way for me to describe my gender identity at this point in time. This label resonates with me because although I often feel connected to femininity and embrace many aspects of being a woman, there are times when trying to present solely as female just doesn’t seem to fit quite right. Nonbinary initially seemed appealing, but ultimately felt like too broad of a definition for my personal experiences.
Demigirl allows me to acknowledge and celebrate my femme side while leaving space for the parts that don’t necessarily conform to societal expectations of what it means to be a woman. It has given me greater clarity on how I wish to express myself and interact with the world around me.
As always, I am grateful for your continued support and understanding as I navigate my ever-evolving sense of self. Your kindness and openness make it easier for me to explore and understand my own feelings and identity. Thank you for supporting me during this journey! <3

TL;DR: I’ve discovered that I identify as a demigirl, which means I partly identify as a woman or feel a partial connection to femininity without fully aligning with traditional definitions of womanhood. While I will continue using she/her and they/them pronouns, demigirl better represents my gender identity than other labels such as cisgender woman or nonbinary. Thanks for supporting me during this journey!
