@保志久美 I relate, so badly
I’m a regular honor roll student with like As and Bs anyway
-
@保志久美 Im really sorry to hear that…

Wubbrle the amazing Wubble Thanks

If someone wants another to put effort into doing better and doing good things, they need incentives. Just like you discipline someone for doing something bad to teach them they shouldn’t do it, you need to reward someone for doing good to teach them to do it more.
Pavlov’s dog experiment; ring the bell before the meal, and they will expect a meal every time they hear a ringing bell.
Give a dog a treat for doing something and they’ll do that something more.I’ve told you in the past to talk to your mother about these things, and I believe you should inform her of what I’m saying in this particular post.
-
@Namira That’s what I’m saying.
For the good things I do, hence bringing my grades up, I should get a brake from the “Good. Now bring up this class.”
-
This is so stupid. Y’know, she should be PROUD of you for getting good grades, since that’s what matters. a “C” in an otherwise big shower of A’s and B’s shouldn’t in theory be a big deal, and heck, C is not that bad either when you think about it.
I hate these types of parents and people in general who make big deals about the wrongs/bads about people but completely disregard the goods. I’m gonna say it myself, good job for trying your best, because that’s all that matters. -
@A38 FINALLY SOMEONE’S SAYING THIS.
LIKE FR SHE SHOULD BE PROUD OF HER GETTING DECENT AND GOOD GRADES.
100% true.
-
@A38 Are they really good???
Idk…
-
@保志久美 Look… hear me out, don’t let your strict mom get to your feelings, your grades look fine to me.
and a A in art… wow you must be really good at art :D, congrats.
-
Wubbrle the amazing Wubble It’s art History not really art :,D
-
@保志久美 Oh

@ゼフィラ-ヤラ It’s hard when parents have so much expectations since you cant just tell them to stop. I am sorry your mom is so much. Maybe you can talk to a teacher about your situation with your mom and how you feel stressed about getting your grades up. Maybe if they see you’re trying really hard for your mom to be satisfied, they’ll help you.
