What do you value in a friend?
-
@Cozy-Talk Friendships are one of the things on earth truly living for. It is good to remind yourself what you exactly value in your friendships so that you can build on that and also reenforce the what you already have. I was listening to a podcast a few months ago about when you do something, you have to make sure you set a reason. Your reason to be with someone has to be sturdy or it will collapse. What strengthens your friendships is valuing something about it. People dont tend to give up as easy on a person when they proritize the value they see in them rather anything else. It is also good when deciding who to be friends with.
What do you value/look for in a friend?

@Duchess
I always try to find a loyal friend, who’d stay with me for who i am.
I need a friend i can trust with my secrets.
And i also need a friend that roleplays :D -
@Duchess I wouldn’t know how to explain it, but fun moments. Times where we just can’t stop laughing or gossiping about some random person. I love it when I have a friend who just can’t make me stop smiling.

@Duchess
I value people as friends who will:
Accept me/my identity and sexuality for what it is (She/They pronouns but Bi-romantic. I’m ace lmao)
I also really appreciate friends who are loyal and willing to talk, as I will be willing to listen if they need to talk as well. (Mutual therapy friends? idk.)
I also just appreciate it if people just don’t talk shit about me (seriously, ofc), especially when they don’t do it behind my back. (Me and my friends will talk shit about each other, but I found out an ex-friend would talk shit about me behind my back.) -
@Duchess honesty and carefulness
