Opinions on online dating?
-
@whatswrongwith-zof Oh.
-
Borrowed Time yeah
-
-
…well my online relationship has lasted for about 4-5 years now so, uh.
dunno ig -
depends who it’s with, make sure they’re not a psychopath before you do it
-
Borrowed Time I personally would seek real-life dating over online dating, because you actually can interact physically with someone much easier via real life (except for if you online date someone and they’re like in the same area), online is just usually bound to go wrong somehow. If you date the right person it won’t really go wrong, but just be careful on here!

i mean… ive been online dating for like years now so honestly i can handle online dating its just that for some people its different? i dont really see a problem with online dating tho especially if you like someone that isnt in the same state as you but others see it differently. it can be hard at times tho but i dont really see anything wrong with it
-
It ruined my fucking life.
-
Yes
-
Infina-Phoenix Oh. I see being emo is common around these parts.
-
with all due respect y’all, since most of you people making stupid ass relationship choices are my friends (you know who you are and you know you can’t say i’m wrong) it’s your own faults your days were ruined because of online relationships. can’t really blame people other than yourselves for going around and getting together with random ass fucking people, going “haha I have a crush on you!!” when you know damn fucking well you don’t, you’re just a stupid kid that wants to go around dating people for fun
it can’t possibly be that hard to be careful about who you’re dating, because we know that if either of you really liked each other this wouldn’t be happening
just kids wanting shit to happen and crying when shit does in fact happen -
Online dating on games and sites that aren’t dating sites are kind of bad. There are alot of children/Old people on them.
I prefer online dating on sites that are meant for dating.
Now of course, I found my Girlfriend on here. but I had to get to know her in order for her and I to know we’re perfect.
-
It’s pretty lame. Unable to see each other, unable to touch each other (appropriately), unable to hear each other’s voices, unable to even speak to each other at proper times, distanced relationship, hardly trustworthy, could be cheating on you without even knowing it.
Happened to me a few times here already, and in real life. All-in-all I dislike relationships in general, but particularly online. Based on my own experiences, at the very least. -
Borrowed Time I’m not joking. I am genuinely not the same person after my experience with her.
-
@jun said in Opinions on online dating?:
unable to hear each other’s voices
To be fair, you can call, but I understand. I’m a very physical person so online dating would probably never work for me. I was just wondering as I see a lot of couples here and I don’t know if they’re online or in person or not.
-
it’s good if you’re planning to see that person irl and both of you knew eachother for a long time
-
Borrowed Time True. I just don’t fw calls.
