Have bots ruined mpp?
-
please be honest, i’m arguing with my friends rn
-
Juniper I haven’t really been on MPP in a while, only small visits to see how things are doing. But it’s sort of a yes and no, because obviously, there were bots before, but they were often in just the big lobbies (the main lobby you get loaded into automatically, TRR, etc.). I’ve noticed that they seem to be spreading, though. (At least from what I’ve seen.)
I feel like they sometimes just clutter up the site, because there’s so many of them, but I also think that they haven’t really ‘ruined’ MPP, just because in my experience with them, which albeit isn’t much, they don’t seem to impede upon the function of the site. -
Basically, it really depends on what they mean by ‘ruined.’

ִ ࣪𖤐⋆˖⁺‧₊☽𝐵𝑒𝓁𝓁𝒶𝒹𝑜𝓃𝓃𝒶☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ִ ࣪𖤐 ruined as in they take the fun away, my friends don’t even try to talk to eachother because of a bot
-
Juniper ah, okay. Can you elaborate? Like how/why won’t they talk to each other? (I know you said because of a bot, but what does the bot do to prevent that?)
-
ִ ࣪𖤐⋆˖⁺‧₊☽𝐵𝑒𝓁𝓁𝒶𝒹𝑜𝓃𝓃𝒶☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ִ ࣪𖤐 they’re more focused on the bot than to talk things out, yk like not even a ‘hello’ 💔

mpp was meant to be a website for piano playing•••duets•••stuff like that, not a bot and social/roleplay nest
bots ruined mpp but so did roleplayers -
tea.and.crumpets i agree
