@X-Cyx-X Well. I wouldn’t let the fact that someone isn’t with you ruin an entirely perfectly good year. I mean, it could hurt to not have this person close, but that’s not doing you any favors by letting the whole year pass up, and… I wouldn’t want you seeing a new time in life as just another point to be hurtful and depressing. Because it doesn’t have to be. We don’t always get the things we want right now, but that shouldn’t discourage you from moving up, and working towards other things that you want. I don’t know the situation with you and this other person, but maybe you can wish them a good life, even if you arent in it entirely. That’s all you can really do with people you can’t have. To just want them to live good. Im sorry you don’t care about the new year, and I suppose you don’t have to. But don’t pass up a good opportunity to have a fresh new state of mind and of heart.

@Duchess thank you, even though they’re still in my life, it’s a whole different thing. But thank you. I’m not letting it ruin my whole year, I just had a really horrible horrible night last night.

@Duchess also there probably won’t be a fresh start since every year so far has been the same shit over and over again, but, I’ll just hope that it’ll be different for now I guess. Maybe this year will be better.

@X-Cyx-X Honestly, I understand feeling like life is repetitive with no change. It feels like you can’t control or stop things from happening. Like, no matter what you do, nothing will get better. If you genuinely can’t do anything to fix your life, like physical / mental things that happen, the best advice I got is to keep strong through it. I know it’s all people tell eachother nowadays because they don’t know what else to tell you, but I mean it. Even if the year doesn’t look like it will be better than the last, bettering yourself, bettering your mindset on life - that could be the only change that could happen this year. And that’s something you can control, and you can make this year.
