I decided to dedicate this arrangement I was working on, as this reminded me of the community as a whole, in which where it has been, where it is right now, and where it will go in the future. It gives a story-line feel, with the many stops and starts with the arpeggios in major and minor, and for me, it honestly expresses this wonderful community - full of amazing people and friends that really do look after one another, no matter what. From the very beginning, the potential that each and every one of you truly had was determined to grow, and it did! It grew along the pace of this musical family, and without all of us to take special care of this giant friendship we have now, this place would be very different from what it is now. So I thank all of you guys for everything you do, plan to do, and have already done
I really hope that this musically speaks to you guys, harmonically and reflectively throughout :)
I happened to have made this over the time my grandma had passed, so in memory of her as well, I’ll honor this for her too
