Watch what you do.

It’s sad that someone could do one action, say one thing, one lie, one comment, and someone could remember that for years without that person even knowing the impact of what they did. Everything people do has an impact in at least someone you know, so it’s important to make sure you treat everyone right. I know it’s not like we are all supposed to know what people would take extremely to heart or not, but it would limit who you hurt long-term if you just watch what you do and say.
This isnt a big deal, but it is a good example.
There was someone that I knew a few years ago who pointed out to me how I started a lot of my sentences with “I,” and from then on, I guess I get a little worried I am talking too much about myself so I made sure not to start things with “I” as much. I later learned that starting off with saying “I” doesnt always mean you’re making things about you, it can mean you’re just taking ownership for how you feel. In the same logic, just because you start with “You” doesnt mean you’re humble and making things about the other person rather yourself. It can be literally you blaming someone else. -
It’s better to say “I” than “you.”
Always take accountability for yourself, not other people.
Just a little thing I learned today. -
@Namira Also bandit you can like… Not
-
@Namira I was simply confused by what you mean, is all. If it’s something private then I absolutely don’t have to know. It wasn’t meant in a hostile way? I apologize if it did
-
@Bandit Yeah no

2022-2023 was a time when I’d avoid beginning with either I or you for formal professional reasons online, which was until that changed after writing a personal essay.
If I understand correctly, I could blame you for writing the post. You were also the one that wrote out the post, alternatively speaking.
