I don't usually write poetry bc i suck at it but here :')

[Your Local Freak]

I told the Moon about you,
About how you hated the way your skin looked on your body,
About how you hated how you hated your body looked,
About how you hated those scars that you had made.
She said you sounded lovely, and that your body is beautiful.

I told the Moon about you,
About how the sun makes a halo around your hair when you stand in the light, just like an Angel,
About how your dimples come out when you smile,
About how you always wear the silly little socks that make you happy,
And about the little happy dance that you do when something excites you.
She said that she loves you, no matter how you see yourself.

I love you, no matter who you are, no matter how much you hate your body, no matter the amount of imperfections.
