any tips on how to stop nailbiting,,,, :/

bro ive been trying to stop biting my nails for YEARS and nothing works. like idk why i js get anxious (which is 24/7) and its like natural for me to start biting my nails.

i used to nailbite so here are some reasons i personally stopped that im not sure will help or not but here:

• they made my nails sharp and uneven. i constantly scratched myself or others

• it hurts your teeth and wears them down.

• its like really bad for your teeth thats genuinely the main reason i stopped

• seriously

• it looks gross and you can get nasty bacteria from under your nails

Uh I genuinely don’t know if you are male or female

For females I’d say wear acrylic nails. Most would want to keep up with pretty stuff

For males (and females too anyway) use fidgets, it was be more of a distraction for your hands so you don’t think about bringing your nails anywhere near your mouth

you can still paint your nails if you’re male

and yeah, nail painting is a good way to stop. the nail polish is bitter and isnt good so you just dont bite AND the nail polish looks good

She even tried putting like paprika or something in top coat to get me to stop </333
