one time a teacher saw me not pledge and told me “pledge or i’ll f**k your commie ass”.
i didn’t comply.
she taught the rest of the what communism was.
genuinely wtf was wrong with her.
(also, one of the kids looked up nationalist socialism because someone mentioned it as a “great thing”…well fuck, the entire school learned about WW2 minus the genocide.)
