The same thing happened to my grandmother with her mother back in the day, and she never got her chance, now she’s getting bad memories of those days. you see, advice about dealing with haters is very good advice, but can be used the wrong way e.g if the person deserves the hate, and the person with backlash will get their ego boosted lots with that advice. that wrong way is used with a hated persons’s friend, so this is probably why lots of people you don’t like have such big egos
