On December 29th, 2020, YouTuber jacksepticeye made a video titled āI completely broke himā¦ | Akinatorā for his 2020 edition of his series āNostalgia Weekā, where he goes back to older games he used to play on his used to play on his channel to look back on the years past. In this video, between the times of 8:08 and 8:43, Jack manages to stumble upon the now-deleted YouTube channel formerly known as SuperMarioLogan, known before itās deletion as āSML Plush Showā., which was a YouTube channel that uploaded skits using plushies of SUper Mario characters, along with some Melissa & Doug puppets, some Disney characters, Shrek characters, and even original characters. Now, whatās with the name change? On February 13th, 2021, Lance Thirtyacre, actor on brother of owner and founder of SuperMarioLogan, Logan Thirtyacre, made a video on his self-named YouTube channel titled āIs SML Being SUED!!!ā. In this video, Logan and Lance go over the details cease and desist that was delivered to, if I remeber correctly, Loganās old house that he used to live in before he moved to an apartment before he moved to the current house he films his videos in on the new channel simply titled āSMLā. Who delivered this cease and desist? Why, Nintendo themselves, of course, because NOBODY is allowed to have any kind of fun anymore. They issued the cease and desist because of how Logan was using their IP and inappropriate situations, which, to be fair, could have easily been avoided, or at least delayed, if Logan had put simple warning screens before his videos or something. Now, why do I bring these things up? Well, because of the time in between they take place. jacksepticeyeās video was uploaded less than two months before Lanceās video. Coincidence? Yeah, probably, but itās definitely strange. The chances of a Nintendo employee seeing Jackās video and being a lilā fucking snitch is probably really slimā¦ but not quite zero. Anyways, lemme know what you think or donāt idgaf.
