i genuinely have a fear of going to school sometimes. my school isnโt in the safest area, weโve gotten a lot of school shooting threats and im terrified. i really am. because yeah, i could switch to online school or skip the days where we get threats but what is life if you live in constant fear. iโve been suicidal before but i donโt really want to die, i just want the pain to go away and i want to be better. but like i genuinely dread going to school some days because being there drives my anxiety off the wall because im scared of a school shooting and itโs not even an irrational fear anymore. the way people are always shooting at something in america i wouldnโt be surprised if it happened. and my parents are like โyouโre just paranoidโ but am i? am i really? with the amount of shit thats happened in america since we got back to school am i really just being paranoid or do i have a genuine fear thats based on things that iโve seen and heard. they threatened to shoot at our band banquet last year. they threatened to bomb my school last year. im just SO horrified of the idea of dying at my school before im ready because i have SO much going for me. my life is finally good. really good. im going to see sevendust and im excited. im happy with myself, im happy in my relationship and i just donโt want that to happen.

Your child is not paranoid. Theyโre terrified of something. Paranoia and Terrified are exactly not the same thing. You think you know if they are or not. Theyโre terrified of something about their School cause of school Threats. You think thatโs just Paranoia? That may be for you, but itโs not for them.

People shouldnโt even be throwing out threats Anyway. They know that they can either be scared or have hallucinations about it. Thatโs fucked up of them to say some shit like this. I am not going to be dealing with people being scared and terrified of People throwing threats around to make them Overthink. That. Now thatโs fucking fucked up.

@finneass I get that, one of the schools in my town gets bomb threats every year and my school got one last year and itโs terrifying. On top of me being scared to go to school in general because of the people and a personal reason, it makes me not want to go to school anymore and I rather go back to doing online school like I had to do half of my freshman year
