"In the past, it would be very rare for a Girl, let along a preacher’s daughter to be a law person. However, Sally Willows made that possible by not only proving it to her widowed father, but to the rest of the townsfolk. She was still a preacher’s daughter and she was certainly not going to stop helping her father in any way that she can, but now she’s balancing both that and keeping the peace in the town.
She got her nickname “Sidewinder Sally”, because her gloves and her boots are actually made out of shedded sidewinder [horned rattlesnakes] skins and she’s wrangled a few of them when she was a teen. She may be pretty, but much like a wild rose, she has a few thorns of her own, and she will be more than happy to prove it to any unsuspecting criminal or outlaw.
