does anyone else get platonic butterflies?
-
like, if you meet someone whoās just like generally charming and cool, or like someone who doesnāt smile a lot, is usually pretty stoic and stuff and they smile at you, you get like that butterfly feeling but you donāt have feelings for them necessarily it just gives you that little happy dopamine rush feeling? cause i have a problem with it, and my parents think i like every person i meet because of it but i really donāt. like one of my friends, weāll call him DJ, DJ smiled at me and heās usually the stoic type, like very calm and collected, NEVER smiles and i told a joke he laughed at and it gave me that feeling, but iād never see DJ in a romantic way, my friends think itās a crush but i know damn well that itās not so idk, but yeah

yes and no
basically, iām nobody special. just another kid in the class- but when someone acknowledges my existence and does something small, even something really small like saying āhiā it just makes me happy and makes my day :)

@finneass I guess so. I did admire a lot of females in school. But I could never talk to them. I felt I was way out of their freindship league xD
