This is the tale of my grandpa
When I was born, he was there seeing me. He raised me with my parents in the middle of nowhere. We had economic problems but he remained strong and smart to work hard and get a good wealth for us. I loved my grandpa really much, we played and had our moments with eachother all this time.
One christmas, he told me the history of the man who’s known as Jesus Christ and he said that this new year things would be better, things would stop being this way and so on.
In the new year, we watched the loud fireworks. There weren’t many since we live far away from the city but that’s just it.
My grandpa told me to enjoy every moment of my life, never letting myself down, never giving up. Because he said to me he felt bad about not enjoying some things.
Then months later he got severely sick, and was internated in the closest hospital, I spent Halloween without him, I spent Christmas without him. Then we got informed his case got worse, and we decided to go to the hospital the 31th December, I was literally destroyed inside when I saw him weak on the stretcher. We said some words and hoped he got “better”, my family left the room while waving where he was in. But I stayed.
I spent a couple of hours along side him, before speaking with him. It was fun, until he felt even more weak.
His heart stopped beating, before that he said some words that I won’t ever forget.
Thank you grandpa for a nice 2021 and beyond that. I love you wherever you are right now.
I hope you all had a nice new year. Peace out
