My mom said she's more comfortable with me getting it when I turn 16, but that's fine because I still get one, I'm excited. If 11-year-old me saw me with a nose piercing, she'd be jumping for joy. My pain tolerance isn't that low, but it also isn't that high, so probably somewhere in the middle, but more to the high side.
