well it’s two things

1. just because you like someone does not mean you have to pursue/date them. having a crush is unavoidable in most cases but everyone you have a crush on is not someone that you should pursue because not everyone is worth your time.

2. instead of thinking about whether you wanna date this person, think about whether you’d want to be in the situation surrounding dating them, for example, if he has a crazy ex, do you want to deal with her, is he worth it (be honest with yourself about this, don’t let your feelings takeover.)?
