Poem #1
Thereโs this friend with a smile so bright,
A radiant beam that lights up the night.
Her eyes sparkle like diamonds rare,
A treasure to behold, beyond compare.Her laughter is music to my ears,
A melody that dispels all my fears.
Her smile can calm the stormy sea,
And bring peace to you and me.Her presence is a work of art,
A masterpiece that touches my heart.
Iโm drawn to her like a magnetโs sway,
Helpless, yet happy, every day.In her eyes, I see a gentle soul,
A kindred spirit that makes me whole.
With her, my heart beats fast and free,
A feeling thatโs new, yet meant to be.Though I may not say it out loud,
My heart beats for her, in a love thatโs proud.
If only she could see the way I feel,
Maybe someday, sheโll love me for real.

In twilightโs hush, where shadows play,
A lonely heart beats, far away.
A soul once full, now lost and gray,
Longing for love thatโs gone astray.Tears fall like rain, a sorrowโs sea,
Drowning the dreams that used to be.
Memories of joy, now taunt and tease,
A bittersweet reminder of whatโs lost, it seems.In empty rooms, I wander alone,
Searching for solace, a place to call home.
But like the wind, youโre gone, itโs true,
Leaving me with nothing, but a heart thatโs blue.The stars above, they twinkle bright,
But bring no comfort, to this endless night.
For in their light, I see your face,
A fleeting glimpse, of a love thatโs lost its place.In this dark world, Iโm lost and cold,
A fragile leaf, thatโs torn and old.
My heart, a heavy burden bears,
A sorrow thatโs mine, and mine alone, it shares.So Iโll wander, through this endless night,
Searching for a glimmer, of a love thatโs lost its light.
But like dawn, itโs gone, itโs past,
Leaving me with nothing, but a heart that wonโt last.No, they donโt connect. ๐ซ
