My mom makes me mad...

I’m a little frustrated today. I miss my real dad. I haven’t Called him for a few days now. I don’t want to seem like I’m ignoring him at all.

Here’s the reason why I haven’t called him.
My mom took my phone for a dumbass reason and now, I can’t call my real dad. My watch also isn’t connecting to my phone which means my phone has died.

The only way I can call him is on my moms phone while she’s in the room and he’s on speaker. AND I HATE THAT. It’s so awkward when I do it like that… I miss my dad… I want to live with him faster because this is just stupid…

Why did she take my phone you ask? Because I wasn’t humble.

She said “You’ll be great at your new job” and I said “I know I will! I’ll be the best!”

Now let me tell you this, I wasn’t putting others down or nothing… Just saying I’ll be the best… And she took my phone cause I wasn’t humble.

AND SHe also took my phone because she doesn’t want me to vent to dad about “HER BUSINESS” (I’m apart of it cause this is stuff that I’m experiencing) and so she has me talking to him on speaker… I’m about to cry y’all I miss him…

Literally, My real dad is my twin y’all…

He makes me laugh like no other. He just gets me. He’s gentle and kind and He’s the perfect father anyone can ever ask for.

It pains me that I can’t talk to him unless it’s on speaker or until I get my phone back… WHICH COULD TAKE MONTHS.

Sphinx Okay, 1. your mom has that paranoid personality when it comes to conversations that you want privacy to your dad about what’s going on over the phone.
2. It wasn’t very necessary for her to take your phone because “you were not humble”. You had every right to have pride, which is why we all have self-esteem, am I right? You had good confidence, your mother may have seen that as something wrong.
3. It just sounds straight up stupid that she seems so paranoid, she has to be an average “Helicopter” mom just to make sure your not saying anything bad about her to your dad.
Istg, all parents will yap about what their children did bad, but then we can’t tell anyone the stupid ahh shi- they do that annoy the hell out us. Like, who told them to say all that to someone,
that was very unnecessary to expose what the child did, but do some shi- like that all because they don’t want to look bad.

@Raven-Rae Real… Like she literally told me that anything that goes on in her house that I’m not happy about, I need to bring it to her (She won’t do shit and she is the problem) or my step dad (He won’t do shit and she is part of the problem)

All because my real dad isn’t christian and won’t understand our religious views…

And because it’s “None of his business”

Even though a few weeks ago I was upset because I felt like I had no one to talk to. and they said I had my REAL DAD… My mom, and a bunch of other family. And now, here she is telling me that I can only vent to her.

You don’t deserve this- Plus, your parents won’t do anything about your needs/vents? That’s way too much. Sure you have your whole family, but that doesn’t mean that they may understand you too.
Cause telling one family member WILL resort back to your mom and she’ll try to get those answers out of you; to tell her why you told your family members all those vents. (just saying even if it doesn’t happen right away-)

Sphinx i know this is really late but
your mom says you’ll be great at your new job, she wants you to have a new job, meanwhile she sounds like she doesn’t have a job at all, so she shouldn’t be on her flapping

@cheesy Haha No she used to be a detention officer and now she works as a security officer at a hospital.

Sometimes she tends to bring work home.
