I'm currently freaking out

Like freaking out so much I’m shaking.
Anyway, me and my parents are in the living room playing a game, then all of a sudden, theres a loud ass fucking bang. It straight up sounded like metal hitting metal. It was so loud 3 neighbors (all from separate houses) came out of their houses to see what it was. At first you’d think it’s like fireworks. But it sounded like it was in our backyard. And our backyard neighbors don’t throw fireworks, because it’s restricted on our street.
My sisters are all freaking out too and my parents are paranoid, so paranoid my dad has brought his gun out to the living room with us. It’s scarier because we’re not in a safe neighborhood at all.
Anyway, basically, loud noise, scary noise, everyone’s freaking out and idk what to do.

@Soggy_Bread Do you think it could’ve been a stray strike of lighting possibly? Sometimes they appear out of nowhere but there would’ve also been a flash so I’m not totally sure.
I’m sure you’ll be alright though :)

Something similar likr that happened to me like two months back.
So all of a sudden there’s a loud boom and all the power goes off for a split second then not there hostipial cars n stuff like that near my house then and hour later I had to sleep, the power went off. So we had to use flashlights, but that turned off. So we used candles until the power goes back on until every thing was back to normal. Also that day when it happened, I was gonna post sum at it but I found out it happened to nobody but my neighbors that day.
