What keeps you motivated?

@Cozy-Talk Life knows how to put out distractions right when you need to focus the most. And there are times you just cannot focus on something, even when you remove those distractions. And then there is a complete and utter lack of motivation to even try the task at all. I know just about everyone’s been through these times, but what Im curious about is what people do to get back on track despite really not wanting to.

Music, Music keeps me motivated/Focused. Some can be peaceful to help me work quietly and others… It can cause a party but they surely help me stay focused [Unless they’re my fav song] [But if it’s also too peaceful, i’ll go to sleep]

The result of the task. Whether it’s being able to lay down on my bed with my phone or being able to watch tv without bother. It could literally be as simple as getting time to myself.

For example, I need to wash dishes but I don’t want to, so to make myself do it, I think about the fact I can make myself a quick snack when I’m done.

Plenty (music, friends), though also thinking deeply about purpose and life history keeps me motivated through challenges.

Ohh that is actually…pretty good advice for myself honestly. I’ve been struggling to work on a few things and need the motivation asap lol
