@Karol said in My Important Advice:

I remember a computer instructor who shared how his students would wish him “good morning”, and as small as it was, it made quite a difference there.

An amazing example for sure - regardless of how much or little you’re willing to give to whomever, unaffected by the kind of person they are, there is no need to question their worthiness in the face of goodwill and kindness because everyone is always needed to feel that value within themselves always.

learn to be happy with yourself before being happy with anyone else. by this i mean, when you learn to be okay with who you are and how you act and how you look an everything. when you can look in the mirror and be proud of who you see then you can bring others into your life in order to bring you happiness, but until you learn to love your solitude and you learn to love yourself the happiness others bring you won’t matter, it’ll always be temporary. and when it come time for you to have other people around, if they don’t make you love yourself more when you’re around them then you shouldn’t keep them around you. if a person is not actively adding to your life, they are not worth your time. think about it. do they respect you the same way that you respect them? do they listen to you? do they respect the boundaries that you set in the friendship /relationship (i.e. touching, petnames, i love you’s, being around certain people, dating exes, friend code, or anything of that sort)? if not, then leave them behind.

I’ve never been the perfect person but when I do make mistakes I don’t make everyone think that I don’t do it. this isn’t about anyone but I’ve noticed things that obviously people don’t. nobody’s perfect, I’m not saying that everyone is but god if your going to make everyone believe that you don’t do things that you clearly do that’s just fucked up man. and yes, I’ve made mistakes but I’ve been trying to allow myself to forgive me before anyone else forgives me. keep making mistakes, not making people believe shit that isn’t real

@Namira Thank you. Even though I’ll probably never implement this, It’s good information to keep in mind.

Namira’s got a point. If you apologized to them several times and they’re still ignoring you, then it’s best not to waste your time on them. You’d be better off just shutting her off.

2022-2023 was a time when I’d avoid beginning with either I or you for formal professional reasons online, which was until that changed after writing a personal essay.

If I understand correctly, I could blame you for writing the post. You were also the one that wrote out the post, alternatively speaking.

  • Stop blaming others for your emotions & actions.
