It’s cool and all, but this year alone, generative AI used more water than bottled water companies.

I know it may not seem like a big deal, but it really is–AI is leading to a lot of global warming, especially in the past few months. (This month alone, Iowa (my state) had multiple days that were 50 degrees and hotter.)

Like I said, it’s cool and all and led to a cool result, but I’m an activist (as much as I can be) for this kind of thing, so I’m trying to spread awareness. So this has nothing to do against you personally, I’m just trying to help stop the use of it before circumstances get worse.
