So Iโve been having coughing fits because of my cold.
So my mom ordered my step-dad to give me some meds to help.They were prescription medication for my mom.
(Mistake one!)The medication is called BENZONATATE and Itโs used to treat coughing.
The recommended dosage for an ADULT is 200 MG or 1 capsule.
Guess how much I took?
400 MG!! orโฆ TWO CAPSULES.
It caused me to have horrible chest pains (Which I thought was simply heart burn before I did my research today. turns out it wasnโt)

Turns out I couldโve died from overdose Because Iโm a 115 Pound 16 year old who just took an overdose amount for AN ADULT.
